C&C Strategy to Protect Against COVID-19

      • Reduce physical closeness and keep 6 feet of space between runners when possible. This is not easy since we are used to closeness and touch.
      • Wear a mask when in group pics, still maintaining the 6ft distancing which not many can take a group photo with over 5 to 7 runners. Otherwise take separate pics up to 7 limit. The safest is too take individual pictures for now.
      • Stay home if sick.
      • Tell the group leader if you don’t feel well.
      • Avoid high fives, handshakes, fist bumps or hugs.
      • Don’t share towels, clothing, or any items used to wipe your face or hands.
      • Avoid sharing food, drink containers.

The group runs gives us a great opportunity to socialize afterwards to share our experiences.   The runs and racing keeps us sharp and connected.  The group runs focus on individual pace and no one is too slow for the group.  No runner is left behind ever. 

Please note that safety is of the utmost importance.  When daylight saving time changes in the fall, please wear reflective wear and lights.

The schedule below is flexible and we will try to be as consistent as possible as to locations. Be alert for weather cancellations etc.  A shout out and thanks to those that are leading the runs and you that make it to the group runs.  If you have a specific question please contact the lead or back up of the group run. Our goal is to offer as many opportunities to train and fellowship during the week and as busy people the time to train has to fit our schedule. Hopefully we can make the training that fits your daily lives. There is never any pressure to run any group run and if one or 100 make the walk or run we are ready to run regardless of numbers, same enthusiasm, same goal.  We thank the group leaders who offer their valuable time and leadership to keep us fit and happy.

to change. The C&C Runners Race and Event Headquarters Facebook page has the
latest events or check out the individual website or Facebook pages.


LEADERS:  Please seek out a backup in case of emergencies, etc. and let us all know of any changes to this schedule.  Thank you all for making it possible for runners and walkers to meet and train.

This group is a very sociable group with running, walking, whatever the need of the group.  The group runs are mostly on the greenway.  meets and runs various distances weekdays and weekends.

Let’s Go For a Run Facebook page, this is a private group and you can join in on the runs that are scheduled at a moments notice to fit work schedules etc., similar to the C&C Post-a-Run page-

C&C Post-A-Run Facebook page, this is an open group that allows for posting of your run and invite others to join in. Be sure to indicate location, time and distance to run. This is not just the C&C team that participates-
